Blood has different functions but they are all important. Blood provides nutrients and oxygen. Disseminates chemicals instructions, removes wastes, and transport cells that defend the body.
Blood can be sticky, metallic tasting, and can be a varies in color from burgundy to bright red. Blood is never blue. Its average temperture is 100.4 degrees F. It's about 8% of a persons body weight.
